Gazette Staff Artist Chad Kimes has been honored by the Press Club of Cleveland in the organization’s 29th annual Ohio Excellence in Journalism Awards.
Kimes received a second-place award in the category of illustrations covering all publications.

She was the loving mother of Barbara (Daniel) Kilpatrick and Kathleen (Norman) Westphal. She also is survived by five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and brother, Walter.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marcus; daughter, Bernice Huffman; and sister, Eileen Enfield.
