MEDINA — People who make threatening phone calls or bomb threats toward schools may soon be punished more severely if a bill in the Ohio General Assembly passes later this year.
The Ohio House passed a bill June 26 increasing the penalty for those convicted of inducing panic when a school or university is involved.

Brunswick police stop 4 mexicans on I-71, but can’t hold them

BRUNSWICK — When Brunswick police pulled over a 1993 Ford F-150 on Interstate 71 for having expired license plate tags on the July 4 holiday, officers found the driver and three passengers of the pickup were Mexican nationals currently residing in Ohio for work.
