Browns camp: Day 5

WHAT HAPPENED: The heat and hitting helped make for the most lively practice of camp. There were no fights, but a lot of jawing and guys were clearly on edge. The play wasn’t always crisp, but it was intense.

Rangers ride off with victory

CLEVELAND — Fausto Carmona was the same pitcher he has been Tuesday night at Jacobs Field. Unfortunately for the Indians, so were their hitters.

Kids show off their talent at fair

Talent is familiar to Katie Schroll and Robin Tresch, especially during fair week.
Each year, the 11-year-old Westfield Upper Elementary students submit a variety of projects to be judged at the Medina County Fair. This year they won everything from a first-place ribbon for a Beanie Baby collection by Katie to a horse shown by Robin.

Harbaugh finds home on track

MEDINA — Motocross fans got a glimpse at a rising star at the Medina County Fairgrounds on Tuesday. 
Dan Harbaugh blew away competition in the College Boy Class (16- to 24-year-olds) and took first in the 125-B Heavyweight Race. He also took second in the Lightweight Race.

Board rescinds vote on Victorians
