She was born June 20, 1936, in Crellin, Md. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Bennett enjoyed making quilts and crocheting. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Cloverleaf will seek November approval for 6.2-mill levy

WESTFIELD TWP. — The Cloverleaf school board voted Wednesday to place a 6.2-mill, five-year emergency levy on the Nov. 6 ballot.
The levy, which would be used to help cover operating expenses, would collect approximately $2.8 million annually and would not raise taxes for homeowners, district Treasurer Mary Workman said.

MCRC throwing party at city park on Aug. 11
