The fiscal officer’s seat also is contested this year.

Teen accused of hitting teacher released from custody

MEDINA — The 15-year-old boy accused of assaulting a teacher at Buckeye High School was released from the Juvenile Detention Center Thursday after a hearing in Medina County Juvenile Court.
Magistrate Susana Lewis ordered the boy be kept under electronic surveillance and that one of his parents must supervise him at all times.
