$1 million bond set in slaying

MEDINA — Medina Municipal Court Judge Dale H. Chase set bond at $1 million Thursday for the Brunswick man accused of stabbing his mother to death early Wednesday.

CHEERS: to the Ohio legislature for taking up a bill that would ban artery-clogging trans fats from restaurants. Unfortunately, the National Restaurant Association has helped clog the path of similar bills in 14 other states, where not a single one has passed. It’s time to bring the troops home

Cut off all funds for our troops except for the expenses of getting them home. When they get home, give them every benefit (most of all mental health counseling) they need. Don’t let them come home to no help at all like the Vietnam veterans had to.
