Hooah Trees
This fall, 2,000 Christmas trees — also known as Hooah Trees — for U.S. troops were collected in Medina County. The cost for shipping those trees to Iraq and other countries is $9,000. To make a donation toward the shipping costs, contact Hooah Tree coordinator Lynn Miller at 330-723-5566.

Medina County Job and Family Services is joining the nationwide celebration of November as Adoption Month. The agency will recognize Medina County residents who have added to their families through adoption at a kid-friendly dinner in early November.

Rittenhouse qualifies for Olympic trials
