Chemical smoke evacuates firm

SEVILLE — Three employees of Blair Rubber Co. were taken to Medina General Hospital with minor respiratory complaints and skin burns Thursday morning after a chemical started smoking in the production area.

Transit dollars bigger

CLEVELAND — Medina County Transit and the Brunswick Transit Authority will together receive about $460,000 of unspent federal transit funds if the executive committee of the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency approves a Thursday recommendation.
