She was born March 1, 1935, in Johnstown, Pa. Mrs. Korber was retired. She was a former cashier in Middleburg Heights at Kmart. She was a member of the Tuesday Morning church bowling league at Hoover Lanes.

Jennie Filips, 89, of Strongsville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, in Parma.
She was born March 19, 1919, in Eveleth, Minn. She was a retired cook at Fritz’s Tavern.
She is survived by her son, Donald (Bonnie) Filips; daughter, Donna Filips; grandchildren, Zachary, Joshua and Aaron; and sisters, Ann Kostelic and Angie Tekautz.

Marian “Susie” Barkfelt, 76, of Strongsville, went to be together again with her husband, Howard, on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008.

Cavaliers cut Dupree
