BEREA — Even without a general manager in place, the Browns could hire Eric Mangini as coach.
A person with knowledge of the Browns’ search said Monday it’s possible a coach will be hired before a general manager, and WKYC-TV’s Jim Donovan reported Mangini could be hired early this week.
