Anne Morgan

Anne Morgan, 87, of Valley City, previously of Arizona, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2007, at Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights.
She was born Sept. 10, 1919, in Cleveland. She was a secretary for B&O and C&O railroads before retiring after 30 years of service. While in Arizona, she enjoyed charity work for Tucson Museum and was a member of Tucson Seniors Club. She was a seamstress and had her hairdresser’s license. She was a member of the card club, loving pinochle, and she enjoyed reading and baking.
She is survived by her sister, Olga Dobbins of Valley City; best friend, Karen Borchert of South Carolina; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Morgan; parents, Stanley and Sophie (nee Woloszyn) Pidzyraylo; and brother-in-law, Bill Dobbins.
Family and friends will meet for a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vladimir’s Cathedral, 5913 State Road, Parma.
Interment: Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, 4700 Broadview Road, Cleveland.
Visiting hours: 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today with Parastas at 7 at Holowchak Funeral Home, 5548 State Road, Parma.
