Brunswick High alumni seek nominees for hall

BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick High School alumni organization is seeking nominees for its second Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame inductee class.
Last year’s class of 10 included Mapleside owner Bill Eyssen, Superintendent James Hayas, Medina County Commissioner Stephen D. Hambley and city Safety Director Pat Beyer.
Spokesman John Wasylko said the selection committee sifted through “a boatload of very, very impressive candidates” last year, and the selection committee has been amazed by the accomplishments of Brunswick graduates.
“We haven’t even scratched the surface,” he added.

The deadline to submit nominees is Sept. 14. A dinner to honor this year’s class will be Dec. 1 at the Blue Heron golf and event center in Montville Township.
