James P. Baker

James P. Baker, 76, of Brunswick, passed away Monday, July 30, 2007, in Brunswick.
He was born April 27, 1931, in Cleveland. Mr. Baker was employed as a millwright at General Motors for 30 years. He was a member of VFW Post 9520 and was a coach for many years for Pee Wee football. He served in the Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Baker is survived by his daughter, Patricia Ann (Keith) Thayer of Pennsylvania; sons, James Jr. (Laurie) and John P., both of Brunswick, and Joseph Perry (Annabella) of Parma; grandchildren, Tracy, Dawn, Chad, Meagan, Julia, James, Zachary and Jackson; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose (nee Ondrejevich); brother, Walter; and sister, Caroline.
Service: 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1330 N. Carpenter Road, Brunswick. Pastor Michael Geml will officiate.
Burial: Lutheran Memorial Park, 2447 Center Road, Hinckley Township.
Visiting hours: 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Brunswick Chapel, 3300 Center Road, and 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
