Township police log

A TYM-brand tractor worth $12,700 was reported stolen from the 1500 block of Ledge Road between 10 p.m. Aug. 22 and 8:50 p.m. Aug. 23.

A landlord reportedly damaged a tenant’s trampoline valued at $300 at a residence in the 1900 block of West 130th Street Monday evening.

A white van was seen driving off without paying for $36.09 in gas at 2:39 p.m. Wednesday at Circle K, 3809 Pearl Road.

During a traffic stop at 3:47 a.m. Monday, an officer asked to search a vehicle and reportedly found drug paraphernalia (a pipe) and a concealed weapon. Adam Hornack, 18, of 730 E. Smith Road, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, and carrying a concealed weapon, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Patrick Pitre, 21, of Columbus, was pulled over on Interstate 71 at 3:50 a.m. Sunday for speeding. The officer said he detected a strong odor of marijuana from the car and, upon searching the vehicle, found two plastic bags containing a total of 52 grams of marijuana, one pack of cigarette rolling papers and one burnt marijuana cigarette. Pitre was cited for possession of marijuana, a minor misdemeanor.

A guitar valued at $700 was taken from a residence in the 2000 block of Pearl Road at 6:15 p.m. Aug. 24.
