RECYCLING DRIVE — The Medina County Solid Waste District will conduct a Recycling Collection Drive on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Residents of the county can drop off the listed items at the following locations:

-Brunswick Service Garage, 1238 W. 130th St., will take paint and paint-related solvents, old phone books, lead-acid batteries, small household batteries, used motor oil and whole waste tires (no rims). Passenger tires will cost $1.25 and tractor-trailer tires will cost $5;

-Medina Municipal Garage, 781 W. Smith Road, will take old phone books, lead-acid batteries, small household batteries and used motor oil. It will not take paint or tires;

-Wadsworth football stadium parking lot on Grandview Avenue will take old phone books, lead-acid batteries, small household batteries and used motor oil. It will not take paint or tires;

-Central Processing Facility, 8700 Lake Road, Westfield Township, will take old phone books, lead-acid batteries, small household batteries, used motor oil, paint and paint related solvents. It will also take whole waste tires, no rims. Passenger tires will cost $1.25, tractor-trailer tires will cost $5.
