Genevieve Muncey, 80, of Brunswick, passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, at Northridge Health Center, North Ridgeville.
She was born March 13, 1927, in Logan, W.Va. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Muncey was a big Indians fan and loved reading, afternoon television and car travel.
She is survived by her sons, Dana William (Catherine), Keith (Marjorie) and David (Laurie); daughters, Terri Tyson and Danielle (Darrell) Browning; daughter-in-law, Chelsie Goff; brother, Larry (Vivian) Butcher; sisters, Helen Pennington, Loretta Carpenter and Dolores Collins; sister-in-law, Iva Butcher; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dana H. Muncey; son, Carl Goff; parents, Lorenzo Dow and Nannie Mae (nee Crabtree) Butcher Sr.; brothers, Dow E. Butcher Jr., Don Butcher and Ronald Butcher; and brothers-in-law, Clifford Pennington and Junior Collins.
Service: 1 p.m. Friday at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (one-half mile south of state Route 303), Brunswick. The Rev. Gerald Fritz will officiate.
Interment: Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
Visiting hours: 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
