Reward for information

Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann and the Humane Society of the United States opened a hotline and announced a reward for information on dog and cock fights. The national HSUS offers up to $5,000 for information that leads to a conviction of anyone involved in illegal animal fighting. The attorney general’s office will take tips at 877-244-6446 from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday. To get a reward, if the animal fighter is convicted, ask the law enforcement agency involved to write a letter to HSUS that states your tip helped lead to a conviction. Send it to Reward Program, HSUS, 2100 L St. NW, Washington, DC, 20037 or fax it to 301-721-6414. For more information, go to: www.hsus.org.
