Florence M. Dippong

Florence M. Dippong, 88, of Parma, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, in Medina.

She was born June 2, 1919, in Cleveland. Mrs. Dippong was a machinist for Weldon Tool Co. for 20 years.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth P. Dippong of Broadview Heights; daughter, Karen A. Cekada of Valley City; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Emily Crowder of Alta Loma, Calif., and Alice Benzin of Valley City; and brother, Richard Kusmer of Seven Hills.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Dippong; parents, Anthony and Mary Anna (nee Osowski) Kusmer; and sisters, Irene Lenard, Eleanore Kusmer and Helen Kurkul.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 1800 Station Road, Valley City. The Rev. Thomas Dunphy will officiate.

Burial: St. Martin of Tours Cemetery.

Visiting hours: 6 to 9 p.m. today at Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Brunswick Chapel, 3300 Center Road (state Route 303 and Interstate 71).
