Edward J. Yugulis, 85, passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at Hospice at The Inn at Medina.
He was born in Cleveland and was a resident of Medina County for more than 50 years. He was employed at North America Manufacturing in the engineering department for more than 30 years. Edward enjoyed reading and was an avid sports fan. Most of all, he was a loving, caring man. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army.
Edward leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Mary Lou (nee Knox); children, Deborah (Anthony) Aloia of Berea, David (Saundra) Yugulis of Medina, Daniel Yugulis of Akron, Dennis (Barbara) Yugulis of Creston and Donna (Bill) Mooradian of North Royalton; grandchildren, Lisa (Cyrus) Dillinger of Findlay, Heather (Steve) Lowry of Brunswick, Michael (Taylor) Miller of Virginia Beach, Va., Christopher Yugulis of Cleveland, Corey and Kevin Yugulis, both of Medina, Jeremiah (Tina) Yugulis of Seville, Phillip (Alissa) Maschke of Columbus, David (April) Maschke of Rittman and Julie (Michael) Barnes of Newport News, Va.; and great-grandchildren, Devin and Hunter Dillinger, Alexis Lowry, Christian, Kyleah and Landon Miller, Edward and McKayla Yugulis, Jacob, Olivia, Rebecca and Kaleb Maschke, and Steven and Aaron Barnes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary (nee Mozeitz) Yugulis; sister, Fannie Monyak; and her husband, Steve Monyak.
Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina.
Burial: Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
Visiting hours: 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (state Route 18 and River Styx Road), Medina.
