Leonard W. Schultz

Leonard W. Schultz, 87, of Medina Township, passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at Medina General Hospital.

He was born April 21, 1920, in Brussels Township, Wis. Mr. Schultz was a broadcast engineer for WJW. He was a Coast Guard veteran, serving in World War II.

Mr. Schultz is survived by his daughters, Jean (Ken) Pfister and Patricia (John) Hanek; granddaughters, Abigail (Michael) Aguilar and Katherine Pfister; grandsons, Nicholas, William and Joel Hanek; and great-granddaughter, Angelina Pfister.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie (nee Fulton) Schultz; four sisters; and parents, William and Mary (nee Zephirin) Schultz.

Graveside service: 12:30 p.m. Friday at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.

Memorial service: 3 p.m. Saturday at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (one-half mile south of state Route 303), Brunswick.

Memorial visitation: 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
