James R. Seward, 79, of Brunswick, passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, in Brunswick.
He was born Aug. 14, 1928, in Ravenswood, W.Va. Mr. Seward was a teacher at Cuyahoga Community College. He was past member of Oglewanagi Indian Dancers. He served in the Air Force.
Mr. Seward is survived by his sons, Roger W. (Susan) of Brunswick and Kent A. (Terri) of Columbia Station; daughters, Nina C. (Wayne) Dukes of Findlay, Ohio; sisters, Mary Ellen Neumiller and Barbara Seward, both of Minneapolis, and Kathy (Tom) Miller of Brookston, Minn.; brother, Keith A. (Carol) of Grand Rapids, Minn.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna L. (nee Leonard); and parents, James R. and Virginia (nee Williams).
Service: 11 a.m. Monday at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 1605 Center Road, Hinckley Township. Pastor Scott Silcox will officiate.
Visiting hours: 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Brunswick Chapel, 3300 Center Road (state Route 303 at Interstate 71), and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
