Anna Elizabeth Bauer, 89, walked into heaven on Tuesday, March 4, 2008.
She was born in Medina to Henry and Anna Schilling and resided in Wadsworth most of her life. Mrs. Bauer was a homemaker who worked at the Medina Pickle Plant and Wadsworth High School cafeteria. She was past noble grand of the Rebekah Lodge and was a member of Trinity U.C.C. for more than 60 years. She loved her annual vacation with her three daughters. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, who were her caregivers for the last three years, and her dearly loved grandchildren.
Mrs. Bauer is survived by her daughters, Margaret Hevener of Wadsworth, Linda (Robert) Lance of Medina and Marian (Bill) Luplow of Akron; brother, John (Gloria) Schilling of Wadsworth; grandchildren, Bob (Beth) and Eric Hevener, Patty (Jay) Barrett, Tim, Jeff and Steven Lance, Susan (Roy) Carver, Tammy Givens, Kim (Rob) Boarman, Kari Mancuso and Billy Luplow; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis, to whom she was married for 51 years; brother, Henry; and son-in-law, James Hevener.
The family would like to thank the staff of Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital, with special thanks to Michele and Visiting Nurse Service of Medina, for their tender loving care.
Service: 2 p.m. Friday at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth.
Visiting hours: 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
