Artie L. Kelly

Artie L. Kelly, 58, of Sullivan Township, passed away Friday, March 28, 2008, at her residence.

Artie was born March 5, 1950, in Naoma, W.Va., to Arthur Crider and Geraldine Jarrell. She served in the Marine Corps, then married Donnie D. Kelly on May 13, 1978. Artie worked for Farmers Savings Bank in Wellington and Spencer for many years. She attended Country Chapel Church and enjoyed crafts, sewing, quilting, crocheting and Stampin’ Up. Her children and grandchildren were her life.

Artie will be deeply missed by her husband; children, Traci (Bob) Kauffman, Cheyenne (Chris) Wade, Melissa (Joe) Zver, Kim (Denny) Williams and Tabitha (Steve) Todd; grandchildren, Ashley (Brandon) Tufts, Brittany and Mayson Hecker, Salena Kauffman, Marissa Hecker, Olivia Todd, Joey Zver, and Travis, Susie, and J.R. Williams; mother, Geraldine Dorsey; sister, Millie Merriman; brother, Jody Jarrell; and many nieces and nephews, including Joe (Michelle) Clay.

Artie was preceded in death by her father, and brother, Donald Jarrell.

Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, 1058 U.S. Route 250 N., with the Rev. Barry St. Clair officiating.

Burial: Ashland County Memorial Park, where military rites will be held.

Visiting hours: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
