- An employee of Jay’s Auto Sales, 1310 High St., reported Thursday a 2001 Ford Expedition on the lot was vandalized. Between 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2 p.m. Thursday the car was scratched along the left and right sides and the rear of the vehicle. Damage was estimated at $1,500.
- At 1:05 p.m. Thursday, an officer pulled over a car and asked the driver and two passengers if anybody had any drugs. Jared Holland, 18, of New London, was sitting in the front passenger seat and reportedly revealed a small bag of marijuana. He was charged with drug abuse.
- A resident of the 200 block of Third Street reported Tuesday that someone entered his house while he was on vacation and took various items, including loose change, clothing, medication and a bottle of bleach. In addition, other items throughout the apartment were moved around.
- A resident of the 100 block of Fairview Avenue reported that between 6:20 and 11:30 a.m. Monday someone took loose change, beer and an unloaded two-shot pistol.
- A resident of the 900 block of Broad Street reported a lawn mower worth $150 was taken between midnight Monday and 10 p.m. Tuesday.
- Two individuals reportedly attempted to steal items from Wal-Mart at 222 Smokerise Drive at 5:30 p.m. Monday. Tommy Rouse, 26, of Wooster, was charged with felony theft. Layne Ward, 48, of Rittman, was charged with misdemeanor theft.
- An officer noticed windows broken at NOPCO Inc. at 188 S. Lyman St. at 12:14 a.m. Monday. He found the windows were broken with pieces of rock and wood. At the same address, officers responded to reports of juveniles throwing rocks at windows at Fin Tubes at 6:31 a.m. Sunday.
A 16-year-old boy admitted to breaking four windows and two windows previously. Charges were forwarded to the juvenile prosecutor.
- A mother in the 200 block of Parkview Avenue alleged that between 3 and 10 p.m. Sunday her 17-year-old daughter sneaked out of the house to spend time with a 30-year-old man.
Oscar Suarez, 30, of 325 Tolbert St., Apt. 3, was charged with contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a child and interfering with child custody.
- Thomas Suchan, 45, of 1909 Yoder Road, was pulled over for having expired plates at 9:24 p.m. June 20. Suchan reportedly had drug paraphernalia on him and he was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
- A carnival worker at the Blue Tip festival reported 22 Vicodin and 28 anti-infection pills were stolen from his quarters at Memorial Park between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. June 20.
- An employee of Office Max, 1153 Williams Reserve Blvd., reported a group of women, some of them wearing hospital scrubs, came into the store at 6:06 p.m. June 17 and took ink cartridges and calculators. In all, $1,041.84 worth of merchandise was taken.
