Anne Hulvey, 92, of Medina, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2008, in her home surrounded by her family.
She was born March 8, 1916, in Donora, Pa. Mrs. Hulvey spent her working career in shoe sales at Miller United Shoe Co. She was a very active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Cleveland Heights for many years until moving to Medina in 2001, where she became a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Hulvey is survived by her son, Stephen R. (Diane) Hulvey of Medina; grandsons, Brad (Diane) Hulvey and Nathan (Nicole) Hulvey, both of Medina; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Taylor, Katelyn and Tallen; and sisters, Elizabeth (Theodore) Ercius of Hingham, Mass., and Edith (Joseph) Selong of Pinellas Park, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen; parents, John and Elizabeth Balas; sisters, Susan and Margaret; and brothers, John and Andy.
Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 400 N. Broadway, Medina. Pastor Thomas Schwartz will officiate.
Burial: Knollwood Cemetery, Cleveland.
Visitation: 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
