MEDINA — A city man was sentenced by Common Pleas Judge Christopher J. Collier to five years in prison Monday for entering a man’s residence and robbing him.

Marlon Johnson, 33, of 308 W. Union St., No. 5, pleaded guilty to a second-degree felony robbery count in May for the Dec. 17 incident.

He also is charged with one count of abduction, a third-degree felony, and one count of aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, for an unrelated incident in May. The case is still pending. Johnson has been in the Medina County Jail since being arrested in June.

Also on Monday, Tiffany Baines, 27, of 941 N. Jefferson St., pleaded no contest to bodily harassment with a bodily substance, a fifth-degree felony, for spitting on a Medina police officer in February. Collier will sentence her in August.
