— A Chippewa Lake resident claimed a neighbor of his threatened him and told him to stay away from his property while backing out of his driveway on Bungalow Bay Boulevard at about 1 p.m. Sept. 16. The man then reportedly spat on the resident and drove away.
Jeff Schmitt, 43, of 5 Bungalow Bay Blvd., was charged with disorderly conduct and menacing.
— A purse worth $185, a wallet, credit cards and two diamond rings worth $10,000 were taken from a vehicle parked at Knollbrook Golf Course, 8421 Richman Road, Harrisville Township, during the afternoon of Sept. 19. The vehicleâ€™s back driverâ€™s side window was broken to gain entry.
The wallet later was found empty in a park in West Salem, and $345 reportedly was charged to one of the stolen credit cards later that evening at a store in Mansfield.
— A leather wallet, along with credit cards and about $300 in cash were reported stolen from a vehicle parked near the North Coast soccer fields, 8809 Lake Road, Westfield Township, on the afternoon of Sept. 20. The victim apparently left his keys in the vehicle during the game.
— A 28-year-old Strongsville woman was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after she reportedly yelled and cussed at deputies in the 7400 block of Fayette Boulevard in Lafayette Township at 3:35 a.m. Sept. 21. The homeowner called deputies after he got into a fight with the Strongsville woman and her boyfriend.
Shandalee Gudschinsky, who was staying in a tent with her two young children on the property, claimed she was going to walk home to Strongsville with her children. She was arrested after several warnings and still reportedly refused to cooperate with officers. The children spent the night with the homeowner.
