Trunk or Treat

Trunk or Treat will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 26 at Granger United Methodist Church, 1235 Granger Road, Granger Township.

This is a safe, fun-filled, one-stop alternative to trick-or-treating for the Granger community, a news release said. Accompanied by an adult, children through fifth grade are invited to come dressed for Halloween — no scary costumes please — and parade around the church parking lot. Church members’ car trunks will be filled with treats for the children.
The youth of the church will provide games, activities and refreshments.

Former pastor at LeRoy UMC

LeRoy United Methodist Church of Westfield Center will welcome back its former pastor, the Rev. Larry Marshall, at the 8:55 a.m. contemporary and the 11 a.m. traditional worship services on Oct. 19.

Marshall served the church from 1986 until 1994. He is credited with helping the church experience a turn-around, a news release said.

Children’s church, a fully staffed nursery and Sunday school classes for all ages also are part of Sunday mornings at the church. An informal reception will follow each service.
The church is located at 7 Park Circle in Westfield Center.

Harvest Fest

The annual Harvest Fest will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 25 at Litchfield Assembly of God, 9082 Norwalk Road, Litchfield Township.

Children ages 2 to 12 are invited to enjoy a night of games, prizes, candy, inflatable obstacle course and a Bible story.
Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. For information, call 330-723-2691.
