Mary Alice Homewood, 73, of Medina, passed away Monday, Oct. 27, 2008.

She was retired from Ohio Bell/AT&T and enjoyed genealogy, scrapbooking and needlework.

She leaves behind her loving family, Lynn and Peter Houghtaling, Laverne Timms; many nieces and nephews, especially Marshall and Marie; and her beloved nephew whom she was the caregiver of for 47 years, Donald Timms.

Service: 4 p.m. Saturday at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (state Route 18 and River Styx Road), Medina.

The burial will be private on Monday at Rootstown Homeland Cemetery.

Visiting hours: 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
