Angeline Spangler

Angeline Spangler, 91, of Litchfield Township, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, in Litchfield.

She was born March 22, 1917, in Cleveland. Mrs. Spangler and her first husband, Robert Medlen, owned and operated Parma Auto Parts (located in Brunswick and Parma). She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, and a longtime member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Parma and the Business Women’s Association in Parma.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Laurence of Litchfield; stepson, Kenneth (Gloria) Spangler of Pennsylvania; stepdaughters, Carol (Joe) Conley and Janet (Dick) Smitt, both of Pennsylvania; 14 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband; second husband, Benjamin Spangler; son, Roger Medlen; and sisters and brothers.

Private services have been held.

Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Medina Chapel, handled the arrangements.
