– Residents in the 400 block of Young Drive reported they returned from a vacation around 6:30 p.m. Monday and found a dead cat inside a spring-loaded claw trap. The residents said they didn’t know who set the trap or who owned the cat. A neighbor said he saw the cat alive in his yard around 4:30 p.m. that day.
– A resident of a mobile home in the 500 block of Madera Street reported someone attempted to unlock the door while she was inside at 7:30, 8 and 8:30 p.m. Nov 28.
Hinckley Township
– A resident in the 100 block of Center Road alleged the boyfriend of a rela-tive stole $320 from her home between 9:20 p.m. Nov. 26 and 11 p.m. Nov. 27.
– The owner of Demand Insulation, 1332 Ridge Road, reported at 3:30 p.m. Monday that someone stole $30,000 worth of equipment from a storage shed between Oct. 30 and Nov. 30.
Medina Township
– Someone driving a 1994 Cadillac reportedly stole $697 worth of sunglasses from Excellence in EyeCare, 3609 Medina Road, between 2 and 2:15 p.m. Nov. 18.
– A 29-year-old Parma man reportedly met a 14-year-old Medina Township girl on MySpace in July and a relationship developed. Between then and Nov. 20, he reportedly had sexual contact with the girl. Charges of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and importuning, both felonies, were forwarded to a Medina County grand jury for review.
– A wallet unintentionally was left behind in a room between 7:30 a.m. Nov. 16 and 5:15 p.m. Nov. 17 at Motel 6, 3122 Eastpointe Drive, and $200 was stolen from it.
