Ruth Null, 91, of Elyria, passed away Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, in Elyria.
She was born Dec. 31, 1916, in Cleveland to David and Sophie (nee Hilliger) Brain. For many years, Ruth and her husband, Robert, owned and operated Nullâ€™s Restaurant in Medina. They retired to Tucson, Ariz., in 1978. After the death of her husband, she returned to Medina to be closer to more of her family. When living in Medina, she was an active member of Medina United Methodist Church. She also was a member of St. James Methodist Church in Tucson, and the YWCA.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Jim) Hewitt of Medina and Deborah (Tom) Williams of Tucson; son, David (Rene) Null of Elyria; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, David L. (Frances) Brain of Lexington, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and sister, Ethel Wideman.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St.
