COLUMBUS — Wadsworth’s time atop the Division I state wrestling championship leaderboard was brief.
The Grizzlies led 12-time defending state champion Lakewood St. Edward 48-47.5 after the championship quarterfinals and two rounds of consolation matches, but went 0-7 in Friday’s evening session, including 0-4 in semifinal matches at Ohio State’s Schottenstein Center.
