Edward A. Rudnitskas, 84, of Brunswick, died Monday, April 13, 2009, at Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights. He was born Jan. 3, 1925, in Kingston, Pa.
Mr. Rudnitskas was a die cast set-up man for MAC. He was an avid gardener, took great pride in caring for his home and yard, and always was willing to help anyone in need.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lillian (nee Ross) Rudnitskas; sons, Edward (Pamela) Rudnitskas, Christopher Rudnitskas and Michael Rudnitskas; brother, Thomas (Frieda) Rudnitskas; and sister, Constant Hoover. He also is survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Ronald and Jeffrey Rudnitskas; brothers, Raymond and Leonard; and parents, Edward and Albina Rudnitskas.
Friends may call for visitation Thursday, April 16, 2009, from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 1642 Pearl Road (one-half mile south of state Route 303), Brunswick. Services will be held Thursday, April 16, 2009, at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
