LITCHFIELD TWP. — A 14-year-old township boy riding his bike was hit by a car at Vandemark and Branch roads Monday night.

Joshua Frame was traveling west on Branch and attempting to turn north onto Vandemark at 7:27 p.m. A northbound car on Vandemark driven by a Chatham Township man hit Frame, the Medina post of the Ohio Highway Patrol reported.

Frame was taken by emergency helicopter to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland. A hospital spokeswoman said he was in good condition Tuesday.

Trooper Dan Kumor said the accident is still under investigation and no one has been cited.
