Brunswick looking for an upgrade to software

BRUNSWICK — The city’s finance department is using accounting software Ward 1 Councilman Chuck Ricco likened to trying to get “a
dinosaur to work in today’s times.”
Assistant Finance Director Todd Fisher said the software his department uses is 15 years old and Microsoft DOS-based.

Medina names new police chief

MEDINA — Mayor Jane Leaver on Friday named the police chief in Boardman Township near Youngstown to lead Medina’s department.

INDEPENDENCE – Jamario Moon is now a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
 
The Miami Heat elected Friday not to match the three-year, $8.9 million offer sheet Moon signed with Cleveland a week earlier, so the 6-foot-8, 200-pounder is now officially part of the Wine & Gold.
