Spiritual expo planned in Medina for next weekend

MEDINA — Visitors to the Community Center are invited to participate in what organizers describe as a “White Light Weekend” Sept. 4 to 6 with the opportunity to “send healing energy to Mother Earth and her troubled inhabitants.”

The Serene Spirit Holistic Expo and Gem Show 2009 will be 5 to 9 p.m. Sept. 4, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 5, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 6 at the Community Center on the Medina County Fairgrounds, 735
Lafayette Road.

Admission is $5 on Friday and $8 on Saturday and Sunday. A $1 senior discount is available with a Golden Buckeye card. Children younger than 12 are admitted free, but organizers ask that no strollers be used during the event.

Food will be available for purchase but plenty of “soul food” will be the main focus of the show, with exhibits highlighting holistic healing, whole-body wellness, bodywork, alternative medicine, green living, natural products, crystals and minerals, jewelry and jewelry-making supplies.

Intuitives, readers and energy healers will provide information and a chance to experience healing.

The expo also will feature Earth angels — adoptable animals looking for their forever homes — presented by various rescue groups in the area.

Volunteers and exhibitors are welcome to register. For information, visit www.serenespiritexpo.com.
