Guilty of animal cruelty
WADSWORTH — James Mills Sr. was convicted of animal cruelty Thursday in the Aug. 15 beating death of a dog.
Last summer, Mills, 71, 9954 Mennonite Road, Rittman, was accused of beating a dog belonging to Tammy Sturdevant, his son’s girlfriend, to death with a 6-foot metal fence post at his son’s farm, 7515 State St.
