Browns make deal for quarterback Seneca Wallace

BEREA — The Browns made their first move to fix the quarterback situation, trading Monday for Seahawks quarterback Seneca Wallace.

The Browns confirmed an agreement has been reached and is contingent on Wallace passing a physical, likely Wednesday. The Seahawks will receive an undisclosed draft choice in 2011, expected to be a late-rounder.

Wallace, 29, is 5-9 in 14 career starts. He would probably fit with the Browns as a backup, and his addition almost certainly means Derek Anderson will be released before his $2 million roster bonus is due March 19.
