An update from Browns practice

BEREA — Just got back inside after watching the Browns’ organized team activities practice for 90 minutes. A few observations from the sidelines:

** The offense wasn’t nearly as crisp Thursday as during the practice open to the media last week. There were several drops from receivers, misfires by the quarterbacks and motion penalties.

** Owner Randy Lerner stopped by practice.

** New fullback/tailback Peyton Hillis has huge biceps. He also made a nice one-handed catch.

** Rookie safety T.J. Ward intercepted Jake Delhomme on a deep post to tight end Ben Watson in the two-minute drill. The offense was down six points with no timeouts left.

** LB Eric Barton (neck), DL Shaun Rogers (ankle), tight end Robert Royal and DE C.J. Mosley (knee) didn’t practice as they continue to rehab.
