The Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities hosted its fifth annual “Sundaes on Thursday” on Medina’s Public Square, where more than 3,000 bowls of ice cream were served. Lynee Bixler, public relations director for the board, said the event was “to both say thank you to the community and to integrate (the community members and people with disabilities).” Along with the free ice cream, there were carnival games, a barbershop quartet and a car show.
