Medina mail stolen Friday

MEDINA — Mail was stolen sometime after 5 p.m. Friday from a mailbox behind the Medina Post Office, 303 N. Court St., police reported Saturday.

A notice on the Medina Police Department’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/MedinaPolice, said that between the hours of 5 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday the drive-up mailbox behind the post office was broken into and mail inside stolen.

Anyone who deposited letters during these hours, or has information regarding the crime, is asked to contact U.S. Postal Inspector James Bogden at (216) 443-4019.

Bogden did not immediately return a call Sunday and the police did not have any additional information.
