MEDINA — Six Medina boys lacrosse players were named to the All-Ohio team for their efforts this past fall.
Senior defenders Tim Viancourt and Justin Riccelli both earned first-team honors, along with junior attackman Alex Schell. Viancourt and Riccelli helped the Bees defense pace make a deep run into the postseason, which ended with a heart-breaking loss in the state semifinals to Worthington Kilbourne. Schell led the team in both assists (59) and total points (107).
Second team accolades went to senior attackmen Collin McMannis and Connor McBride, along with sophomore midfielder James Dahlheimer. McMannis was a consistent threat all season for coach Pat O.
Brian’s squad with 50 goals and 48 assists, while McBride connected on a team-high 68 goals. Dahlheimer added key scores for the Bees (15-2) all season long with 25 goals and 25 helpers on the year.
