Browns LB D’Qwell Jackson still undergoing tests on pectoral injury
BEREA – Browns linebacker D’Qwell Jackson continued to undergo tests Wednesday afternoon on his right pectoral, which was injured Tuesday night in practice.
Browns spokesman Neal Gulkis said nothing definitive was known on the extent of the injury and didn’t anticipate the release of any results Wednesday.
Jackson tore the left pectoral last season, missing the final 10 games. He spent the offseason rehabbing and reported for training camp healthy. He worked with the starters throughout the first 12 days of camp.
The Browns didn’t practice Wednesday and will return Thursday with two-a-days.
Jackson looked heartbroken when he returned to the field Tuesday night to watch the remainder of practice. He received consolation and encouragement from teammates.
