MEDINA — Police are still searching for a man suspected of using a lost credit card to make sev­eral unauthorized withdrawals last month.

A 55-year-old man reported his wallet lost at a local bar and grill during the evening of July 24. In the early morning hours of July 25, withdrawals totaling several hundred dollars were made at dif­ferent automated teller machines using an ATM card from the wallet, Lt. Bob Starcher said.

He said the wallet owner had his personal identification number written on a piece of paper in the wallet.

“Don’t keep your PINnumber in your wallet next to your card,” Starcher warned.

After contacting the banks, authorities obtained pictures of a male suspect from the ATM cameras. He is white, middle­aged and wearing glasses, police said.

Police have posted the images on the department’s Facebook page and asked for the public’s help in identifying the individual.
