Wednesday, Aug. 4

10:24 a.m. — Guilford Boulevard, three juveniles on bikes hit a woman in the back with a shoe while she was on the multipurpose trail at Roscoe Ewing Park. Police were unable to locate the juveniles.

11:26 a.m. — 800 block Ridgeview Drive, a vehicle was egged overnight.

Thursday, Aug. 5

12:51 p.m. — 500 block S. Court St., during a traffic stop, Jonathan Bare, 34, of Massillon, was charged with improperly transporting a weapon. Although he had a permit for carrying a concealed weapon, Bare reportedly had a handgun and ammunition stored in his glove compartment.

Saturday, Aug. 7

1:39 a.m. — 900 block N. Court St., Randy Baisden, 25, of 134 N. Vine St., Medina, was charged with disorderly conduct after police responded to a report of a fight and Baisden reportedly punched out a vehicle’s window while shouting obscenities.

6:23 p.m. — N. Jefferson Ave. and Forest Meadows Drive, a 16­year-old Medina boy reportedly broke a fluorescent light bulb. Police located the boy and made him clean up the broken glass.

Sunday, Aug. 8

11:14 a.m. — 900 block Lancaster Drive, a witness reportedly saw two juvenile boys hide a safe near the railroad tracks. Police collected the safe, which had been forcibly opened, and placed it into evidence.

Friday, Aug. 13

10:13 a.m. — 100 block Southport Drive, more than $100 worth of gardening items were stolen from a garden.

5:43 p.m. — 800 block W. Liberty St., an unknown person drove away without paying for $46.87 worth of gas at Stop-N-Go.

9:29 p.m. — West Mill and Baxter streets, officers responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle charged a 17-year-old Medina boy with marijuana possession.

Saturday, Aug. 14

9:09 a.m. — 1000 block Marilyn Way, syrup was poured over two vehicles overnight.

3:50 p.m. — South Spring Grove Street and East Smith Road, a handicapped man reportedly urinated in front of his home. Police advised him and his family of the complaint.

Saturday, July 31

2:19 a.m. — 3000 block of Marks Road, five juvenile boys reportedly threw water balloons at a vehicle. Police cited one 16­year-old and four 17-years-olds for disorderedly conduct.

Tuesday, Aug. 10

5:30 p.m. — 4000 block Pearl Road, a 16-year-old Garfield Heights boy was arrested on a theft charge after allegedly attempting to steal carbon dioxide cartridges and Daisy BBs from Walmart.

Thursday, Aug. 12

5:12 p.m. — 4000 block of Pearl Road, police responded to a report of a shoplifter at Walmart. David Ingorsoll, 47, of Akron, reportedly had stolen merchandise from several other stores in his vehicle. Police also allegedly found drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Ingorsoll was charged with theft and possession of drug paraphernalia, and his companion, Michelle Riggs, 25, also of Akron, was charged with receiving stolen property.

Friday, Aug. 13

10:20 a.m. — 4000 block Pearl Road, a fryer, valued at $1,500, and a table valued at $300 were reported stolen from Fiesta Jalapeno.

12 p.m. — 3000 block Blue Heron Trace, a man reported his golf bag and clubs, valued at $3,300, were stolen from his vehicle.
