The city of Medina will flush fire hydrants along a myriad of municipal streets from Tuesday through Sept. 9, which is a change from the original start date of this past Monday.
Discolored water might be temporarily present in running faucets of homes and businesses because of the flushing process, according to a prepared statement from the Medina Water Service Department. Residents are advised by the city to flush cold water through a faucet until any discolored water runs clear.
Roads affected by the hydrant flushing include: Andrews Road, Lindenwood Lane, Ashwood Lane, Meadowlark Lane, Beechwood Drive, Miller Drive, Bradley Court, Richard Drive, Cedarwood Drive, Roshon Drive, Cloverdale Avenue, Sandy Lane, Curtis Street, Shagbark Drive, Damon Drive, Shorewood Drive, Forest Meadows Drive, Squires Court, Heather Lane, Strawberry Lane, Hickory Grove Lane, Walnut Drive, Kings Court, Westwood Drive, Lakeshore Walk, Wildwood Court, Lakeview Drive, Woodland Drive and Larkens Way.
