Members of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Irish Brigade Division 1 of Medina County, and their families recently filled gift boxes for troops in Afghanistan as part of its Missions & Charities project.

Following the lead of their division president, Tony Manley, who has a son in Afghanistan, the group assembled 18 boxes for shipment. All items were donated by Hibernians, their friends and local businesses.

The Ancient Order of Hibernians in America is an Irish-Catholic men’s organization that was founded in New York in 1836 and has members throughout the United States and Canada.
