MEDINA — A boil alert was issued for 24 homes on Weymouth Road today due to a water main break.

The alert was issued at 9 a.m. and will be in place until test results confirm there is no bacteria/contamination in the water supply.

During the alert, residents are advised to boil tap water used for drinking for at least one minute.

The Weymouth Road addresses affected include: 780, 800, 820, 830, 834, 836, 840, 844, 846, 848, 850, 860, 870, 880, 890, 916, 920, 924, 940, 944, 982, 988, 992 and 994.
