Wadsworth Crime Waves for Oct. 29, 2010

Lodi

Monday, Oct. 18

12:15 a.m.— Christopher Allenbaugh, 24, of 4355 Vandemark Road, Litchfield Township, was charged with drug abuse, possession of marijuana and driving under suspension after police pulled his vehicle over in the 100 block of Redfield Street for having a suspended license. After noticing the odor of marijuana, police called in a K-9, which reportedly found marijuana and two glass pipes behind the ashtray of the car.

Tuesday, Oct. 19

12:30 a.m. — 300 block Bank St., an officer took a report of a stolen laptop and Xbox 360.

Wednesday, Oct. 20

3:45 p.m. — 100 block River St., police received a report of a suspicious person with a gun. Police found juveniles with a BB gun and they were advised to be careful because it can look real and suspicious to others.

Thursday, Oct. 21

8:37 p.m. — Police were dispatched to Lodi Primary School, 301 Mill St., because three juveniles were smashing pumpkins. The juveniles cleaned up the pumpkins before being released.

10:55 p.m. — Tiffany Warholic, 28, of 9115 Avon Lake Road, Harrisville Township, was charged with theft for allegedly stealing from Drug Mart, 661 Wooster St.

Monday, Oct. 25

11 a.m. — A manager at FirstMerit Bank, 209 Wooster St., reported someone attempted to steal a money bag from the night depository box.

Tuesday, Oct. 19

1:06 a.m. — Matthew Kilgore, 30, of 191 W. Main St., Seville, was charged with assault, criminal trespass, public indecency and disorderly conduct after his neighbor called police because Kilgore reportedly assaulted him.

While taking the report, police also were told Kilgore allegedly was intoxicated and urinated on the man’s property on Oct. 16.

5:28 p.m. — Matthew Weaver, 43, was charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly was seen walking down Wooster Pike intoxicated and fighting with his father.

10:20 p.m. — Bradley Clem, 24, of 215 Hazelwood Drive, Lodi, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly admitting to having the drug in his car after he was stopped for speeding on Center Street.

Wednesday, Oct. 20

8:45 a.m. — A park employee reported a pavilion door at Cy Hewit Park was kicked in and spray-painted.

Thursday, Oct. 21

3:10 p.m. — Matthew Kilgore, 30, 191 W. Main St., Seville, was charged with intimidating a witness or victim for allegedly removing his belt, wrapping it around his wrist and pounding his fist at a witness to a prior incident was driving past him at Center and Main streets.

Saturday, Oct. 23

4:41 p.m. — Wendy Rollyson, 36, of Orrville, was charged with theft at Walmart, 222 E. Smokerise Drive.

7:30 p.m. — Eric Ward, 20, of 332 Simcox St., Wadsworth, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police reportedly found a glass pipe with marijuana residue in the center console of his truck during a traffic stop on Main Street.

Sunday, Oct. 24

5:01 a.m. — 1000 block Reedy Drive, a wallet containing $40, credit cards and a Social Security card was stolen from a vehicle overnight.

8:59 a.m. — 300 block Great Oaks Trail, Halloween decorations were stolen from a residence overnight.

2:12 p.m. — 300 block Stoneybrook Circle, vehicles were entered overnight and several items stolen.

Monday, Oct. 25

3:15 a.m. — Kimberly Siders, 44, and her son, Nick Phillips, 22, both of 260 E. Bergey St., Wadsworth, were charged with disorderly conduct after police were called to their home because Siders and Phillips reportedly were fighting over him leaving the house when he had an upcoming court date for which Siders posted his bond.

6:40 a.m.— John McCarty, 19, of 419 Hartman Road, Wadsworth, was charged with criminal trespass after a resident in the 100 block of Walnut St. called police to report a burglary in process. Police reportedly found McCarty hiding in a bedroom after the woman’s 17-year-old daughter left a window open for him. The woman said McCarty previously was banned from the property.

3:39 p.m. — A 14-year-old boy and his mother contacted police because the boy’s iPod was stolen from Wadsworth Middle School, 150 Silvercreek Road.

Wednesday, Oct. 20

12:38 a.m. — Interstate 76 eastbound, Guilford Township, a deputy stopped a car for an improper lane change and a police dog alerted to the vehicle. Kaseem Pennington, 32, of Columbus, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. 10:11 a.m. — 5000 block Windfall Road, Sharon Township, a saw was reported stolen from a construction site.

Thursday, Oct. 21

8:36 p.m. — 9911 Avon Lake Road, Harrisville Township, two women allegedly shoplifted $980 of clothing from several stores at Lodi Station Outlets. Lisa Brewer, 26, and Crissy Wortman, 29, both of Warren, were charged with receiving stolen property.

Friday, Oct. 22

11:12 p.m. — Sunshine Motel, 6969 Greenwich Road, No. 6, Westfield Center, a Lodi resident reportedly received a harassing phone call from someone staying at the motel. A deputy reportedly smelled marijuana coming from room no. 6. Tara Wells, 38, who resides at the motel, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
